About Me
I am currently an alum of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, Iota Tau Chapter. I work full time as a Linux/UNIX Systems Administrator for the University of St. Thomas. I am in the process of obtaining my masters degree in software engineering.
Why I Joined
I decided to join the Sigma Chi Fraternity because of the long lasting relationships that I had built with many of the brother's over the years. After deciding to pledge, I found that the views and standards held by Sigma Chi matched up with what I believe in and try to follow. The more that I learned about Sigma Chi, the more I relized that I needed to be a part of it. Finally in Spring 2008 I was initiated and it has been the best choice that I've ever made.
How Sigma Chi Has Helped Me
Sigma Chi has helped me learn more not only about myself but about others too. As stated in the Creed, we are composed of persons with different temperments, talents and convictions. Having met so many differnt kinds of people really opened my eyes. Sigma Chi also provided me with the opportunity to meet new people, and make life long friends (Brothers).
