About Me
I am the Pro Consul with the Iota Tau chapter of Sigma Chi. I currently work about 15 hours a week at Nash Finch and am taking a full course load. The job hunt is on for work after I graduate!
Why I Joined
I joined Sigma Chi because the values that are associated with Sigma Chi are those that I had been raised to believe in and try my best to uphold. I thought it would be a great opportunity to grow as a man of good character and develop leadership qualities. The one regret I have about joining Sigma Chi is that I didn't do it sooner. It unfortunately took me three times before I was initiated. I dropped the first time because I was not sure about what Sigma Chi was about and the second time because of personal events interfeing. I am extremely thankful to those who kept on me to join and brought me through pledgeship and initiation.
How Sigma Chi Has Helped Me
Sigma Chi has helped me grow more confident in myself and the talents I bring to the table. I have been able to develop leadership qualities as a brother of Sigma Chi. I have found it very beneficial to have a set of written standards to live my life by and brothers around me who will help me live out those standards.
