About Me

I am a Sophomore at the University of St. Thomas studying engineering. I currently work with IRT Client Services by helping clients with their technology problems/requests. Aside from Sigma Chi, I am involved with engineering clubs like ASME and Mini Baja as well as the Tommie ski and Snowboard club. My three biggest passions are music, playing the electric guitar, and the culinary arts.

Why I Joined

I joined Sigma Chi first and foremost because I wanted to gain something more than just a degree from the University of St. Thomas. College is too short to just sit around and do homework all the time, and Sigma Chi allows me to balance my work and play as well as develop deep friendships that I will be able to take with me for the rest of my life. I also joined Sigma Chi for the ideals that the fraternity stands for and the respected reputation that they have. Never have I met a group of such great guys that strive for these ideals that I find so utterly important in becoming a better man.

How Sigma Chi Has Helped Me

Sigma Chi has given me confidence in myself to tackle anything that the world throws at me. I have put full trust in Sigma Chi that if I ever hit a rough patch in life that they will always be there by my side, and that's all I need to keep going. In today's competitive lifestyle, leadership skills is a must have and I believe that Sigma Chi has made me realize the kind of things that I can accomplish if I put trust in myself and others. Sigma Chi has allowed me to understand myself better as well as learn the kind of things I stand for that will help me in the future with my career and life as a whole.
